Theatrical Stage Electrics 101 – Introduction to Stage Electrics I **Required for the Apprentice Program
Prerequisite – Stagecraft 101 & 102 or Committee Approval
For stagehands who are at the beginner experience level or for those who are at an intermediate or advanced level and need to refresh their electrics skills.
Duties of a Theatrical Stage Hand, introduction to lighting instruments, introduction to the different electrics cables and connectors, basic hang card and hang tape reading, introduction to electrics hanging positions and circuiting, changing a lamp in a Source Four ellipsoidal, and changing lenses in Source Four Pars.
